Measuring steps

Place the infant on the measuring pad, with the head touching the head board. |

With your right hand, push the foot stop toward the infant’s feet, holding the child with your left. |

| 3. |
Stretch the legs by carefully pushing the infant’s knees lightly to the pad surface. |

| 4. |
Place the foot stop at right angles to the child’s foot soles, using your right hand. |
|
| 5. |
Read the body length off the markings on the measuring pad’s surface. Follow the above sequence and you will get accuracy better than +/- 5 mm. |
