Measuring steps

1. Place the infant on the measuring pad, with the head touching the head board.
2. With your right hand, push the foot stop toward the infant’s feet, holding the child with your left.
3. Stretch the legs by carefully pushing the infant’s knees lightly to the pad surface.
4. Place the foot stop at right angles to the child’s foot soles, using your right hand.
5. Read the body length off the markings on the measuring pad’s surface. Follow the above sequence and you will get accuracy better than +/- 5 mm.
