Method: Cyanmethemoglobin method

Sample material:
Use capillary blood or EDTA-blood capillary blood immediately. Venous blood can be stored up to 24 hours at + 15 to + 25 °C.

Storage and shelf-life:

The reagent is usable until the expiration date on the package, if stored in the dark at +15 °C to +25 °C. Do not freeze reagent.

Safety notice:

According to EG-regulations, the reagent is not classified as hazardous material / dangerous compound. The reagent solution contains highly poisonous potassium cyanide, which, due to its extremely low concentration (0,006 %), is not considered dangerous. A safety brochure is available upon request.
